Change can be a wonderful experience for many people. It can be exciting and something that can break up the boring monotonous routine that can get on just about anyone’s nerves over time. There are, however, times when a particular change is not welcome and actually causes some stress on the person who is affected by the stress. This kind of change can be just about anything, from an unexpected and unwanted move from a place the person is renting, of which the owner of the home has decided to sell to someone else who does not want tenants, to facing a transfer where the worker will have to take it or to start looking for another job. While change can be a wonderful thing when it means a promotion or finally moving into that house the person has always wanted, change can be frightening to the point of driving the individual into anxiety or worry about what will become of them in the future with this change. When feeling stressed, it helps if the person takes a minute to sit down and think about what it is that might be causing them the stress. They start going through everything that might cause them some excessive worry, but it all finally centers on one thing; change. This person realizes that this new job, or them finally moving out on their own and are now in charge of their own life, or they have moved to a new city where they wanted to start over but still need to find a job or anything else that could be classified as a big change in their lives, is what is probably causing them more stress. The worries start to set in with “how am I going to be able to afford this new rent,” “am I really capable of this job with all its responsibilities,” or any other questions or worries that can come to mind that would make one tense up and sweat over. Soon the mind starts to become overflowed with a million things that could go wrong as a result of this change and before the person knows it their vivid imagination has run off with them. This can leave a person more pessimistic about their future and they feel that this change can only bring bad luck on them.
It is important that a person gets control of themselves and starts to rationalize that change can actually be for the better. It can often help to consult a therapist or a counselor about all their worries and possible future troubles that they fear. The therapist or counselor can act as a sounding board for the patient to let out everything that concerns them to the point of anxiety. The therapist can then help the patient to organize these thoughts and talk about how many of these worries are unwarranted. Further therapy can help the patient accept that while any change can come with some risk; a big change in a person’s life can actually spark wonderful results and opportunities that can benefit the person in the end. The therapist can then help the patient calm down and feel more confident about the change in their life.As with anything, change can be a good or a bad thing. Much of it depends on whether they take it in a positive or negative way. For the more pessimistic or less confident individuals, therapy can be a safe way to help deal with the change in their life in a more positive way.

Goal Setting
1: Concentrate on you goal.
2: Substitute the word goal for the word promise. Semantics I know, but lets think about this for a minute or two. What does the word goal say to you. A goal is something you strive for, something you will attempt to achieve, something you will try and make a reality. Now what does the word promise say to you. A promise is something that you keep. It is your word. It is not something that you will try and keep, it is something that you will do your utmost to keep. We do not make promises that we will not keep, what does that do for our credibility, not a lot. So by substituting the word goal for promise, it creates a totally different mindset about what we are setting out to achieve. It sends a different message to your subconscious.3: Clearly identify your promise.Trying to achieve a promise that is not clearly defined is like trying to stick the tail on the donkey whilst blindfolded, shooting in the dark. So how rich do you want to be, what kind of car do you want. Be as specific as you can be.Clearly identify exactly just what it is that you want.The more specific you are the clearer you will be able to see it in your minds eye, which in turn imprints it into your subconscious.4: Identify your personal motivator. Why do you need to achieve this goal? You need to have something that keeps you motivated. Otherwise you are likely to stop at the first hurdle. Now this motivator can be either positive or negative. A negative motivator can be someone telling you that you are dreaming and will never be able to achieve whatever it is you have set. You are now motivated to show that person just how wrong they are about you.Positive motivation could be the reason you want that new car. So whether your motivation is negative or positive does not matter as long as it works for you and keeps you striving for your goal.5: Create a promise plan. How, where, who, what ,when? Answer these questions and you will find yourself formulating a working promise plan.Just as every successful business needs a working business plan, so does every promise if it is to be successful. Once you have a plan work it every day. No matter how good the plan is, if it is not worked it will not work.6: Review your plan on a regular basis.Take 20 minutes a day to look over your plan. You may find that you will need to revise it as time goes. The more you review it the better it will become. Constantly reviewing it keeps it fresh in the mind which keeps you focused as well as implanting it into your subconscious. You notice how I keep referring to your subconscious? This is because your subconscious is a very powerful ally to have working on your side. Once your subconscious knows what your plan is and how determined you are to make it happen it kicks in to make it a reality and then you are almost unstoppable.7: Tell yourself that you will succeed. Self affirmations are another powerful tool to use to get your subconcious working for you. Positive self talk can never be underestimated. I can do it, I will do it, I am going to achieve it.8: Tell others about your promise. This provides additional motivation, as well as making you accountable. You may find that some of the people you tell will help you on your way.9: Envision the final result. See yourself as having achieved your promise. Love is Power
Imagine inhabiting this world alone, without the moon, without the animals, without other people. Would that be an inhabitable world? Of course not. Even though we may not directly see how we are related to a stranger, just know that we are. We all emanate from the same Source, and are part of one thing. Many of us have bought into the habit of cursing everything. We curse the weather. Make the choice to love everything, and appreciate even the weather, because without variations in weather conditions we would not be able to know the difference. Imagine if it was sunny at all the time, you would not even know the possibility of rain. So accept the world as it is, variety is the inherent nature of the universe. If you happen to hate difference, then you will always be frustrated because difference is the intrinsic nature of the world we inhabit. Accept that we are all different, look different, dress differently, eat differently and talk differently. So instead of being so wrapped with ourselves, radiate love to the world. Abstain from constantly judging, cursing, winging and mourning. Fill your heart with love, love the world. How do we love the world then you might ask? Through the simple act of sending out thoughts of love to a stranger, appreciating the trees around us and appreciating the difference in us. Remember; never underestimate the power of thought. Thought creates. Oh if you like in the words of Mike Dooley, ‘thoughts become things’. So when you send thoughts of love, you are actually creating a lovely world and when you send out aggression you will in turn get more of that. There is the power of love. So shift your attitude and send out love.

Happiness And you

What you want!
I'll share a personal story that will demonstrate how the Law of Attraction works in every day life:I am going to move to the west coast soon. Having lived on the Canadian prairies for more than 30 years, the prospect of returning to a warmer climate is bringing me much joy!I am keeping my attention on where I want to live. In fact, I just visited the city I have my attention on, did a whirlwind tour with a realtor and found the ideal area I want to live in.In the old days, I would be focused on (obsessed with) my current situation and what I need to do to change the "reality" of where I am right now. But according to the Law of Attraction, placing my attention on what I do NOT want would bring more of THAT into my life.It is so much more fun to think about where I am wanting to live. I took a walk along the ocean and discovered some special stones which I brought back to Saskatchewan. These stones are now arranged in a small bowl next to my computer monitor where I can see them all day long. They provide a good focal point for keeping my attention upon where I want to be.I have placed sea shells and starfish throughout my house as reminders of the ocean--where I am wanting to live. There are sea shells in the bathroom, along the bath tub and next to the sink. In the kitchen, I arranged sea shells in a dish and placed them on a counter top where I can't miss seeing them. I've placed sea shells and a starfish IN my bed, so that if I awaken during the night, I can reach for them and remind myself of where I am wanting to be.More and more I am daydreaming about my new location. While I was physically there, I made many mental pictures--pictures of myself shopping or having coffee at a sidewalk cafe or entertaining friends in my new condo--pictures of everyday life as I want to be living it.At first, when I told people about my upcoming move, I felt uncertain and tentative about my decision. That's normal. We are only comfortable with what we know already...anything new or unexperienced will feel strange--until the "new and unexperienced" becomes so normal and real in our minds that the Universe just HAS to give it to us.In fact, that is all the Universe is waiting for--for you to spend so much time living the life you want in your mind that the ONLY thing left is to give you the life you are wanting!In closing, bring to mind something that you are desiring...close your eyes and picture yourself actually enjoying what you are wanting. Engage all your senses--pretend to smell it or taste it. What would it physically feel like? That's the first step in deliberately attracting what you REALLY want!
